Over a period of 10 years, a major retail systems supplier purchased custom hardware from Camdata. These projects were:
- A proprietary printer network for Argos including Camdata MSLC cards, slave nodes and custom power supplies. Over 2000 units were installed
- A custom serial communications board coupling back-office computers with customer-facing terminals with which users can interrogate stock levels, again for Argos.

Over a period of 15 years, Camdata has provided custom electronics for a major retail systems supplier. These projects include:
- A system to collect receipt data from a variety of tills and pass that back via a 2-wire RS485 to a master node and then to a central monitoring PC, where the data is combined with images received from cameras. Several thousand of these were shipped
- A custom device to allow production of encrypted magnetic cards for operator log-in/out for a major UK retailer. Nearly 500 of these are still in use.
- A cash handling control system using an off-the-shelf note recognition head.
